Addictionary

2011

Addictionary is a multilingual dictionary concept for Mac OS X that enables its users to rely on their knowledge and experiences in different languages.

Thanks to an optimized interface based on standard GUI elements, the user can seamlessly translate between all available languages, get information in the respective languages (such as the meaning or the synonyms) and organize his own vocabulary.

During the design process, we took great care of the Mac OS X Human Interface Guidelines and used paper prototyping to validate our concept.
